Farouk is founder and CEO at Arcas Partners and has extensive experience in operational (Internal) audits, IT audits, information security and Enterprise Risk Management engagements for a wide range of internal and external audit clients including financial institutions. He has significant experience with the audit of controls, processes and systems at financial institutions. Farouk is the engagement leader for several Swift CSCF Attestations for Financial entities in the Dutch-Caribbean.

Farouk has extensive experience with compliance audits for the regulators CBCS, CBA, DNB and AFM. Farouk holds several certifications in the areas of (IT) audit, Internal Audit, Information Security, Internal Controls, Risk Management and ISO. He is also a board member of the Institute of Internal Auditors.

Farouk has led several major Digital Transformation processes and ERP implementation projects in the Healthcare, Financial Services, Utility and Telecom sectors.
